入味 (rùwèi) vs. 好吃 (hǎo chī): This is a critical distinction.
好吃 is the general word for “delicious.” A dish can be 好吃 for many reasons (fresh ingredients, good texture).
入味 is a *specific reason* why a dish is delicious: because it has fully absorbed the sauce or marinade. A perfectly cooked but unseasoned piece of fish is not 入味. A well-braised piece of pork is both 入味 and 好吃.
